The overall goal of the Phantom Z06R project is to create a superior track car that is also very much still a daily driver.

Specifically, the goal is to apply Zora Duntoff's original Z06 concept to a 2003 Corvette Z06. This project is intended to extend the Z06 concept, as demonstrated in the C5 Z06, to higher levels of cornering ability, braking and general track readiness. The scope of the project is purposely limited to suspension, brakes, and interior modifications as the horse power and torque of the factory LS6 engine is more than ample to attain the goal of the project.
